Back Up Your Blog
You put so much time and effort to create a large amount, so you need to make sure it is protected. To ensure that the content is secure, you need to backup your blog regularly. Your backup frequency will depend on how often you write on the blog, but as a general rule of thumb is a good idea to back up at least once a week. You never know when one may be mistaken, and when that happens, the normally their control.
Considering the replacement rule, remember there are two sets of data that make up your blog site files and databases. Both of them should be supported, but it may be that the site fi les not be backed up as often as a database. Site files are essentially everything from the original WordPress main unit. Many of you may not have changed, and as long as you keep a copy of your version of WordPress somewhere on your computer should be able to use to backup your website (just remember to backup your computer regularly over!).
The majority of WordPress users only fi les sites that regularly change the subject, Plugins, and images, all of which are contained in the wp-content directory. File, not only in this directory that you have a backup copy of wp-config.php. WP-confidential g.php file is unlikely to change after your blog has been installed, it probably only need to back up that file again, soon after you first install the blog. So, for your website files, you need to back up regularly is the wp-content directory.
Backing up wp-content
Your web host will probably back up all files on our servers every day. But you should not rely on them. It is always faster and easier access to their backups than having to ask your web host for them. The safest way to backup your website files to use an FTP program download wp-content directory of a safe place on your computer.
Backup the database using phpMyAdmin
While it is important that the back of your site files, you only need to backup if you have a complete loss of data on the server. Fortunately, the complete loss of data, are quite rare. If you have experienced data loss, it is much more common, that it includes the MySQL database, which promote their blog. Please note that the database contains all posts, pages, comments and links from your blog. Probably the easiest way to create backups of the database is to use phpMyAdmin.
